Submit Your Personal Stories

Here are some keys to submitting a great story:

• All Stories should have a beginning, middle and end. They should have a place where it happens-the setting and characters or people.
• When writing focus on the emotion behind the story and not the details. Paint emotional pictures for your readers. Something they can picture in their mind
• Focus on sharing and serving your reader, not selling.
• You may share a funny story that happened to you, a fond memory you have, or a picture with a story behind the picture.
• Three things that make a story powerful is to describe the quest-what you were pursuing. Then describe the test-what you had to go through to get there. Finally describe the solution.
• Stories that leaded with your passions and your core purpose, cause people to make more of an emotional connection.
• Finally you should have a purpose for the story, where is the story leading the reader.

You may submit your stories in 4 formats

1) Written-If you have a written form of your story, just copy and paste it below in the form

2) Video-If you have created a video with your story, or if you would like to share a video that tells a story you have watched on one of the many video viewing sites-you can submit that URL here and we will post it in our stories.

3) Tell your story by calling on the phone and share it over the answering machine. This is recorded to our computer and we can make it available to others to listen to on our site. To share your story by audio please call (214) 615-6505 Ext. 5905

4)Pictures. You can submit your pictures to our site along with the story behind the picture. In the form below write the story and then at the end of the story write--Picture to follow and then hit submit. After that write a email to info@tearsofjoyvideo.com and attach the picture. In the subject line of your email put submitted story and the story title. On the site we will list the picture with the story under the picture.

By submitting your story in the form below, you give us permission to post this on our site, and use it in other marketing material like our Newsletter or Ezine. All stories are reviewed for content. Once approved, they will be posted.
