This is also the section you can contact us. Tears of Joy Video was borne out of friendship and love for family. There were 3 friends who were blessed with gifts of creativity and other natural artistic talents. Read about us and our personal stories of why we decided to create Tears of Joy Video. 
Juli DoddMontage Specialist-CEO-San Diego Office Hi I am Juli Dodd. I love to do video montages...why? Because it makes people happy. I remember the first one I ever did one for a friend, we were sitting on the couch and after we were finished watching it, there was dead silence. So I asked them "Did you like it?" and they couldn't even answer me, they were so overcome with emotion! Then they said with tears streaming down their face "like it, we LOVED it!" Of course they were "tears of joy". I look forward to creating many more video montages and bringing more happiness and joy to people; hopefully you are one of them. Cathie Dodd Montage Specialist-Marketing-Creative Director I am the younger one of the two Dodd sisters (by 11 months). I am a rare breed, a native Californian; I was born and raised in southern California. I grew up and was inspired by my mom and her family. Most of them were involved in art and music. As a child when people asked me what I wanted to be, I said an artist. Well my drawing ability didn't take me far, but I have always been drawn to anything artistic. I have used different means to show this, crafts, video, photography and lately editing. I find Tears of Joy Video gives me the means to express my art through manipulating people's pictures, video, and adding music and titles, to create their story. I consider each video to be like my canvas and the finished product, my artwork. So I guess I finally am fulfilling my inner child. With the Tears of Joy Video business, I get to be an artist. I thank my customers for helping me realize my dream by letting me create a piece of art for you. Cathie's Story-Why they started Tears of Joy Video 
Julie Wilkerson Montage Specialist-CEO Orange County Office I am a wife, a mother, friend, poet, writer and deeply spiritual. I was born in Boston, MA and moved to the southeast when I was in my early teens. I rode horses and spend many hours in the countryside learning to love and appreciate the simple things of life, including music and performing. My family eventually moved to Maryland and it was there that I met my husband, Michael. We married and lived in NYC for several years, later settled in Virginia and eventually made the life-altering move to California in 1996. It has been a ride, this life of mine. Each year that has passed has been for me a slide show of pictures and pictures of the best of times and lately, the worst of times, too. I recently suffered the loss of both of my parents and other personal tragedies, which have given me a keener appreciation for savoring every moment with the people you love. It is this passion that inspires me to connect with new families and individuals who also have stories to capture and share. Today, my husband and daughter are also happy to be involved with the production of these video montages. It is a thrill to know that our Tears of Joy project has brought so much to so many. I consider it a privilege to be entrusted with photos that tell a personal story ... sometimes it brings out feelings to which there are not adequate words to convey.
